Did you know we have a growing network of global distributors who are just as excited about robotics and automation as we are? Clearpath is proud to join forces with some of the best integrators in the industry. Our growing global network plays a huge role in enabling robotics research and development in many different parts of the world. Today, we are excited to continue this blog series highlighting our global partners, such as our Poland-based distributor, Edu4Industry. We interviewed Maciej Antonik, CEO, to learn more about how they are supporting the robotics education industry in Central-Eastern Europe.

Tell us about Edu4Industry.

Edu4Industry originated in 2013 under the name Encon-Koester. The company later split into two entities: Procobot, which targets the industrial market, and Edu4Industry, which serves the academic sector. Our team comprises seven members who primarily work remotely, though we have a small office in Katowice.

What is your mission?

Edu4Industry’s mission is to support development of higher education institutions in Central-Eastern Europe. We do this by equipping institutions with best-in-class teaching and research solutions from all around the world, with a focus on automation, controls and robotics.

What makes you stand out?

We believe Edu4Industry stands out because of our flexibility, tailoring solutions to meet the precise needs of its customers. Our product portfolio is specifically designed for teachers and researchers, ensuring relevance and effectiveness. Additionally, the team consists of skilled engineers, providing expert insights and a deep understanding of the field.

What is the robotics and automation industry like in Central-East Europe?

Poland and its neighbouring countries are currently the fastest-growing regions in Europe. Their industrial expansion heavily depends on automation and robotics due to significant manpower shortages across all industry sectors, from manual labor to skilled positions. This growing demand for automation and robotics experts, along with new technologies, is essential for the economy. To support this trend, we assist universities in accelerating research and enhancing the quality of engineering education.

What has your experience with Clearpath been?

Edu4Industry has partnered with Clearpath for five years, during which we have received several Huskys, a few Jackals, and a Dingo. Our team values the exceptional support provided by Clearpath’s sales team while navigating technical concepts. Customers are highly satisfied with Clearpath’s post-sales support, which addresses any questions, spare parts needs, or other issues—though these are infrequent.
