Joining the Team

At one point or another, we have all felt the crushing anxiety of one’s future.  With post-secondary education already being as stressful as it is, we understand that being expected to choose a career by the end of it is tough. Without relevant work experience, this can often feel impossible.

How can you know what you want to do for the rest of your life if you haven’t done it yet? At Clearpath, we want to make that choice easier  this is why we value co-op programs so much. Whether students are studying robotics and planning a career in that industry or not, we want to inspire and help them find work they are truly passionate about.

Clearpath offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative and friendly team that is looking to create innovative solutions. A co-op term is the perfect opportunity to get hands-on experience for passion projects, learn new skills, work with industry experts, make valuable connections and get the chance to produce something truly revolutionary. Regardless of the program or field of studies, Clearpath offers a variety of co-op positions including mechanical, software, customer success, marketing, and even finance.

What unites us? A passion for building robots and creating positive change through our solutions. Our ultimate goal is to automate the world’s dullest, dirtiest, and deadliest jobs. We want to take our co-op students with us on that journey.

Core Values

Clearpath was started in a basement by four friends who loved building robots in university (not so far removed from some of our co-op students!). Many of our employees have been in the shoes of co-op students and list their placements as some of their most valuable experiences in their career.

We want to push the limits of robotics research and Canadian business with the help of diverse talent from universities and colleges Canada-wide. A co-op term with us will help bridge the gap between post-secondary studies and full-time work for students and give them the tools to be successful in the future.

To get a better understanding of what a co-op term with Clearpath would look like and what we look for in a co-op student, below is a list of our core values:

  • Start with Why
  • Create Wow
  • Customer First
  • No Bullshit
  • Think Big
  • Be Humble
  • Move Fast
  • Be Frugal
  • Empower Others
  • Be Fearless
