Like many of you, we can’t wait to get back to attending robotics conferences in person.  We love the opportunity to talk to you about your exciting projects and to fill you in on the latest developments here at Clearpath.  Although we were unable to attend ICRA 2021 in person this year, we were happy that our Chinese distributors Wuhan Jingtian Electrical Co., Limited were able to showcase some robots  – including the recently released Dingo indoor mobile robot – at the ICRA 2021 in-person exhibition in Xian, China.

We were also thrilled to be able to participate and sponsor in the Real World Swarms workshop which featured key speakers and panelists from leading robotics companies and secondary institutions around the world with the primary aim of identifying and accelerating developments that help swarm robotics technology transition into the real world. The workshop covered topics ranging from robot blobs, to robust scalability, to multi-agent autonomous systems, to traffic control strategies, and more.

It was incredible to see that over 200+ unique participants who logged in from over 30 countries over the course of the day! We hope that you had productive discussions with the researchers in the sponsor booths during the interactive sessions (especially after the great talk given by Smriti Chopra and Jason Mercer).

We are also pleased to announce that the winners of the best poster award, who will be awarded with a Dingo-D indoor mobile robot, are Ki Myung Brian Lee, Felix Kong, Ricardo Cannizzaro, Jennifer L. Palmer, David Johnson, Chanyeol Yoo, and Robert Fitch! Congratulations! We can’t wait to see what exciting work they’ll be getting up to with their new robotic platform.
