Our partner, Velodyne Lidar, has been hosting an exciting webinar series over the past couple of months called “Automation and Safety During COVID-19”. In their most recent episode, they featured our CTO/Co-Founder Ryan Gariepy who discussed how Clearpath robots, Husky UGV and Jackal UGV, are being used to take on some of the most dull, dirty and dangerous jobs in the world. Ryan also reflected on some exciting customer stories that Clearpath has been involved with such as transporting water through rural areas of India, autonomously mapping radiation environments, and a robot that is helping to take out the trash. Ryan also touched on Clearpath Robotics’ view on responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, and what the future holds for the robotics industry.
